Tim Barone is a Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Hunted Labs. Tim brings 20+ years of experience supporting the US Department of Defense, US Intelligence Community, and Fortune 100 clients. He has his foundation in network security and was responsible for the success of a highly technical Red and Blue team at the Federal Bureau of Investigations, where he was in charge of scoping and assembling teams to conduct security assessments of client assets per an agreed-upon schedule.
Tim comes to Hunted Labs from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he was a Lead Security Engineer for all things security in the North America region. He supported the build out of the Cybersecurity program at BCG with responsibilities of security awareness training sessions and incident response management.
Prior to BCG, Tim led the Booz Allen FedRAMP 3PAO team serving as the team lead for consulting Cloud Service Providers (CSP) prior to and following FedRAMP authorization. In addition, he supported multiple cloud migration projects by providing cybersecurity Subject Matter Expertise (SME) leadership, AWS network architectural guidance, and hands-on execution of AWS infrastructure and services.
Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Virginia University.
