Michael Simmons

Michael Simmons is a Principal Solutions Architect at Hunted Labs. He most recently served as a Principal Sales Engineer at Anchore where he assisted various prospects and customers in both the public and private sectors with implementing Anchore’s tooling to ensure software they built was visible, secure, and compliant with the relevant industry standards. While at Anchore, Michael spent time as a contractor assisting with building out the Air Force’s Platform One Iron Bank pipeline infrastructure ensuring the delivery of hardened COTS and open source images to end users in the public sector. At Anchore, he also developed a compliance tool from concept to purchase by several Fortune 100 companies and public sector organizations.

More broadly, Michael specializes in implementing secure CI/CD pipelines, microservice architecture deployment and operations, and security/compliance, particularly in the federal space.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Loyola Marymount University.
