Jim Higgins is the CISO of CoreWeave. Formerly the CISO of Snap Inc., he brings over 30 years of experience in high technology, with a strong focus on Information Security. He is a technology and business leader with senior roles in product, offensive, intelligence and cloud security. Before joining Snap, Jim held key positions in the industry, including Director of Product Security at Google and CISO at Block, Inc. (formerly Square, Inc.), Eastman Kodak, and others.

His expertise spans threat intelligence, advising government entities, and addressing cybercriminal and hacker activities, with a focus on emerging threats. Jim also serves as a senior cybersecurity advisor at various educational institutions. In addition, he played a pivotal role in helping the Linux Foundation establish the Open Source Security Foundation, which aims to raise awareness and promote advanced security practices.
